I probably wouldn’t have a four year old who can name all the major characters from Eps 4,5,6 and who cutely asks every time we play Star Wars Guess Who – Do you have a light sabre? In fact this is the only question she ever asks.
I also wouldn’t have hand drawn pictures from my seven year old of Storm Trippers and the Empior with electricity coming out of his hands.
You know, I’m glad they didn’t listen to Yoda.
Actually the hubby saw a copy of the original idea for Star Wars in the Smithsonian museum when he was in the US (but apparently there are other copies floating around). They hadn’t come up with light sabres yet and lots of the stuff was quite different and it was almost unrecognisable. He thought if it had been made as is, there might have been one B grade movie.
Thinking Star Trek was a space opera we would be.
