Well, that’s ALL my bookshelves, although all the unbooky things are squeezed on the books. I don’t seem to be able to have shelves with just things on them, unless it’s the top of a bookshelf, and even that’s a bit of a bookpile magnet.
Puppies cause strange placement for lots of things! I have been hobbling about in one & a half slippers due to my pup eating half the sheepskin lining, & one side of the slipper. I dont think he even got a bellyache.

Our new dog is the weirdest, he chews tissues and pens (the tissues he actually eats). But he doesn’t touch shoes at all. I suppose I should be grateful for small mercies, although his particular bastard habits (stealing food from the table, leaving random “revenge poos” on the rug) are pretty bad.

I like the coffee cup. At least it shows that someone sits there and READS! My similar bookshelf has been known to contain a cat…
