So here’s something I did not know.
Nine year olds – even the ones who were even-keeled eight-year-olds – are extraordinarily emotional human beans.
So, right now, I am sitting here, determined not to respond to the sound of a ball banging against a bedroom door, a sound which is being made by a person equally determined that I will.
My nine year old was being very moody for a bit but he calmed back into even-keeledness, so hold onto that.
I’ve heard about this. Mine is nearly 9 and I’m not looking forward to it.
Oh. Don’t talk to me about nine year olds.
I agree.
I have a 9 year old and a 3 year old and I think they’re the two most hormonally challenged ages I’ve had to deal with so far.
Bring on the 10th birthdays!
You could always start kicking a ball against YOUR door.
If only I could say such a thing had never taken place.
